Hi. :) Welcome to likethegun_lims, a last iconmaker standing competition for the tv series Supernatural, which features two leads, Sam and Dean Winchester (hence the name of the comm). I have a brief opening post here with an explanation of the goal of this comm. There is also a faq here. General rules are below.

• You must be a member of this community in order to participate. It's important to friend the community to catch all the updates.
• When a new round is announced, sign ups begin. Please sign-up in this post. Once voting for the first challenge of the round is up, you cannot join the competition until the next round.

• You do not need to be a member of this community to vote. However, you must have a Live Journal or OpenId account to vote – anonymous votes will not be counted.
• You cannot vote for yourself.
• Votes should address technical problems (too sharp, silly font doesn't compliment serious image), not things of personal preference (I hate green, that icon sucks) - you should be able to explain your reasons, so that they're helpful to the iconmaker. The formatting of votes will be in every voting post.
• You do not need to be participating in the current round and/or weekly challenge to vote.

• You may only submit one icon per challenge, unless the particular challenge states otherwise.
• Your icons must be no more than 100x100 and under 40kb, in .jpg, .png, or .gif, following this format (comments will be screened):

• Your icon must be made specifically for the challenge in which it was entered. This means no minor alterations – re-cropping, adding text – to existing icons is permissible. Submissions must be original.
• Feel free to use brushes, textures, and stock images unless it is stated otherwise. Text brushes are banned. Do not use any other SPN image except the ones provided for the challenge.
• You cannot post any of your entry icons elsewhere until the challenge is over.

• Each contestant gets one skip, issued at the beginning of the round. An additional skip will be awarded for pimping this community (in your own lj or in another comm that allows ads), and/or by signing up to make banners. Please comment in this post to link to your pimp.
• This community currently is using any image up to the middle of Season 8. Other than that it is spoiler free.
